Tips for an accurate speed test
Use a wired connection
For the most accurate result, connect your computer directly to your router with an Ethernet cable.
Pause other activity
Close downloads, streaming apps and large transfers while you test.
Run it more than once
Test a few times and compare results. Wi-Fi signal, devices and network conditions can affect speeds.
